Many congratulations to Ruikang, who just completed his MSc study in Motion Structure Laboratory.

Ruikang joined us in September 2013 as a Master student. His research topic is on the graded origami structures. During last two and half years, he has been working very hard and made a very impressive achievement as a research student. Together with his degree thesis, he has published one journal paper, one conference paper, one patent. More importantly he has open up a new arena in the origami structure research, which will be followed up by current research students in the lab.

Ruikang has setup an excellent model as a research student with capabilities in motive and independent research and innovation, good communication, high responsibility, careful organisation and great teamwork spirit.

It is a great honour to have Ruikang as a member of MSL. We wish him all the best for his future career.
