Deployable polyhedra won the best paper in the Second Conference on Deployable Structures
From: Date: 2016-10-27 Sponsored by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Chinese Society of Vibration Engineering, Chinese Society of Astronautics and Microwave Technology Key Laboratory of Space, the second conference on deployable structures was held in Beijing on 24-25, Oct 2016. More than three hundred and sixty academics and engineers from over forty institutions participated in this conference, during which forty-five presented their work in group discussions. Prof. Yan Chen and PhD student Fufu Yang were invited to attend this conference. Fufu Yang made an oral presentation on deployable polyhedra which was very well received, and won the Excellent Paper Award. Congratulations to Prof. Yan Chen and Mr. Fufu Yang.
