On May 21th, 2019, 26 primary school students from the affiliated elementary school of Tianjin University visited MSL during the special event “Secret of Origami” hosted by MSL.
        Professor Chen made a vivid science lecture showing that origami is not only a form of art but also a frontier of the current scientific research. After the lecture, Professor Chen showed them how to operate the high-precision tools and machines in the lab. Besides that, live demonstrations were presented for the visitors, which taught them how to make origami animals.
        Through the science lectures, live demonstrations and operation, the young visitors have experienced the charming aspects of science and technology, which will inspire their innovation and interest on science in the near future.
