On September 19, 2020, MSL held a group meeting of the first semester in the 2020-2021 school year. The participants included all the faculty members, graduate students and undergraduates. During the group meeting, Professor Lin Yuan introduced the research team and research directions of MSL, as well as the rules and regulations of our laboratory, so as to pave the way for the new members to join this big family quickly. In addition, six representative students were invited to give academic reports and share their experience of scientific research. The purpose of this process was to help the new members get familiar with different research fields and understand the right way of conducting research. In this meeting, the exchange between teachers and students was very active, full of enthusiasm and energy. Everyone was full of hope and confidence for the new semester to start.
