Undergraduate Students from the Motion Structure Laboratory Win Second Prizes in the Regional Phase of the 9th "Jingdiao Cup" Graduation Design Competition

        Recently, the evaluation for the 9th "Jingdiao Cup" Graduation Design Competition of the China Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Competition was successfully concluded. In this competition, Du Congzhao's project "Design and Research on Two-Level Synchronous Deployable Mechanism Integrated with Membrane and Backframe" and Jiao Enci's project "Design and Analysis of an Aerospace Reconfigurable Polyhedral Deployable Mechanism", both won Second Prizes in the Regional Phase.

        The competition was hosted by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and organized by Jilin University and the Mechanical Education Union of Excellent Engineers. The topics were all derived from the actual engineering needs of enterprises, focusing on assessing students' engineering practice, comprehensive application, and innovative design capabilities. It is a highly prestigious graduation design competition in the field of mechanical engineering. Both award-winning projects focus on aerospace deployable mechanisms, closely aligning with the cutting-edge demands of the aerospace field, and their design proposals are both innovative and practical.
