His main research interest is to study the mechanical properties of origami metamaterials, including the mechanical properties analysis and parameter analysis of pyramid foldcore under impact loads, reduce its initial peak stress and improve the overall energy absorption based on graded method, and obtain the optimal parameters through parametric analysis.
