Origami metamaterials Origami is an ancient art form, which can fold two-dimensional plane paper into three-dimensional model without cutting and bonding. Metamaterials refer to composites whose properties are obtained from their structure rather than directly from their composition. Origami, which can transform two-dimensional materials into complex three-dimensional structures, provides a new idea for metamaterial design, and this geometric design method is not limited by model size and material.
