Research Interests: |
The primary research focus is on the structural design and property manipulation of the transformable modular-origami-based metamaterials. This involves an in-depth investigation into the relationship between the zero modes of the metamaterials and their geometric modeling, topological configurations, etc. The research further integrates field-control techniques, exemplified by thermal fields, with stimuli-responsive intelligent materials. This integration aims to elucidate the capacity for transformation of zero modes and to harness their potential for programmable wave functionality.
