Specifically：Sandwich Structures
My research direction is the sandwich structures, which have potential in naval and aeronautical applications since they offer high stiffness/strength-to-weight ratio. Although the development of foldcores and concept studies of next-generation aircraft incorporating a foldcore sandwich fuselage have been pushed in the recent years , many other fields of application are possible, e.g. in the field of sound insulation in buildings, engine fairings or cargo compartments. So how to change the parameter of sandwich structures to achieve a wide application is my interest. |
